Looking at the events for this week, there is an event out there for just about everyone. Whether you are looking for a family event, enjoy local art, want to learn to brew beer or smoke the perfect BBQ ribs, there is an event for you. Not good enough? Maybe you enjoy crawfish and beer, local comedy or trivia nights. There is even an event for those who love their flip-flops. Oh, and there is a Mario Kart tournament! And don’t forget the Daisy Chain pint night, especially if you missed any of these beers in the last two weeks. Still, even with all these events, there are two that stick out above the rest.
Bakfish Brewing Co is celebrating their 2nd Anniversary all weekend long and will be releasing a Russian Imperial Stout. They will also have their 1st Anniversary beer, a Belgian Dark Strong Ale, on tap.
The most noteworthy event is the 10th Anniversary Party for Southern Star Brewing Company! Check the event page (here) or in the list below for more details. Between initiating the largest brewery collaboration project (to the best our knowledge) and preparing for their 10th Anniversary party, I can only imagine that the good folks at Southern Star have been a little bit busy over the last few weeks. Congratulations to Southern Star!
